It follows the story of the band Queen. It goes into detail about the band beginning and the highs and lows. with a focus on Freddie Mercury and his ups and downs
I was totally engaged from the get-go there were moments I totally forgot that was in the cinema. The story of how their famous songs got started is amazing to experience the start was amazing
Freddie is now been immortalized in film. Rami Malek absolutely nailed it if he does not get any nominations for this then there no justice
Shout out to Gwilym Lee as Brian May. He was really good.
The rest was great. The rest of the band were good I’m, not 100% sure if they looked like the real-life counterpart.
Lucy Boynton as Mary was good, as the grounding force behind Freddie madness.
Allen Leech was great. He play as Paul the user of Freddie fame. and played it to a tee because you really root for him to get what coming to him.
A special shout comes to make- up costume team on that did an amazing job
the direction was great, the pace was great it wasn’t to fast. It was done with grace but it not slow. They cleverly skip through the small details like travelling around the world but they also stop at key points to make a point about his sexuality and the struggle of it. I think that handle that well. Also to note that some of the shots were really creative in the way they a situation with the press to show the party lifestyle that Freddie was going through at the time.
it’s biopic about Freddie Mercury and queen. It had to be good and it was every nailed it the music was on point it went really well with the scene. Rami Malek was great the singing was great. A little of hic-up at the live aid scene but I do know that was the first scene they during filming. So I’m giving a pass. On that. But a part from that note. nailed it.
it was good and funny too
